Abstract
An oxide ceramics sintered compact comprises three kinds of phases of cordierite, mullite, and sapphirine as crystal phases is characterized in that, with a sum of contents of MgO, Al2O3, and SiO2 being 100 mass %, it contains MgO of not less than 12 mass % and 14 mass % or less, Al2O3 of not less than 34 mass % and 39 mass % or less, and SiO2 of not less than 47 mass % and 51 mass % or less, and a content of a substance except MgO, Al2O3, and SiO2 is less than 1.5 mass % of the whole sintered compact.
Claims10
An oxide ceramics sintered compact, comprising three kinds of phases of cordierite, mullite, and sapphirine as crystal phases,
- wherein MgO of not less than 12 mass % and 14 mass % or less, Al2O3 of not less than 34 mass % and 39 mass % or less, and SiO2 of not less than 47 mass % and 51 mass % or less are contained with a sum of contents of MgO, Al2O3, and SiO2 being 100 mass %, and a content of a substance except MgO, Al2O3, and SiO2 is less than 1.5 mass % of the whole sintered compact.
A method of manufacturing an oxide ceramics sintered compact, the oxide ceramics sintered compact comprising three kinds of crystal phases of cordierite, mullite, and sapphirine and a coefficient of thermal expansion of the oxide ceramics sintered compact at 21° C. to 23° C. being not less than −0.005×10−6/° C. and 0.005×10−6/° C. or less and Young's modulus of the oxide ceramics sintered compact is 144 Gpa or more, wherein a mixed powder of a cordierite powder, a mullite powder, and a magnesia powder is used as a raw material powder.
