Claims53
In combination, an embossed sheet and a food container made from recycled material, said embossed sheet comprising:
- a sheet material sized to be received within the food container, said sheet material embossed to create projections forming an intermittent support surface, said intermittent support surface extending over a surface area sufficient to support a food product thereon inside the food container.
A food container, comprising:
- a sheet material configured to form a closed food container, said sheet material embossed to create projections forming an intermittent support surface, said intermittent support surface extending over a surface area sufficient to support a food product thereon inside the formed food container.
A bakeable embossed sheet comprising:
- a sheet material having a barrier coating so that said sheet is bakeable, said sheet material embossed to create projections forming an intermittent support surface, said intermittent support surface extending over a surface area sufficient to support a food product to be baked thereon.
A package of embossed sheets, comprising:
- a package comprising a plurality of embossed sheets, each of said sheets embossed with projections creating an intermittent support surface, said intermittent support surface extending over a surface area sufficient to support a food product to be baked thereon.
A method of preparing an embossed sheet, said method comprising:
- providing a sheet material;
- embossing said sheet material to create an intermittent support surface, said intermittent support surface extending over a surface area sufficient to support a food product thereon;
- blanking said embossed sheet into a desired embossed sheet configuration;
- packaging a plurality of stacked embossed sheets.
A method of preparing a food package, comprising:
- placing an embossed sheet in a food package, said embossed sheet embossed with projections creating an intermittent support surface, said intermittent support surface extending over a surface area sufficient to support a food product to be packaged in said food package;
- placing the food product on the intermittent support surface.
A method of preparing a food product, comprising:
- providing an embossed sheet embossed with projections creating an intermittent support surface, said embossed sheet having a barrier coating so that said sheet is bakeable;
- placing a food product on the intermittent support surface of said embossed sheet;
- baking said food product in an oven while said food product is on said intermittent support surface of said embossed sheet;
- removing said baked food product from said oven along with said embossed sheet.
