Claims20
A polymer composition comprising:
- a statin;
- and
- one or more of lactide, glycolide, and ε-caprolactone,
- wherein the statin is covalently attached to the one or more of lactide, glycolide and ε-caprolactone.
A device comprising fibers, yarns, filaments, membranes, fabrics, meshes, or mesh-like structures prepared from a statin containing biocompatible polymer wherein at least one statin is covalently attached to the statin containing biocompatible polymer.
A method of treating coronary artery disease comprising implanting a device comprising fibers, yarns, filaments, membranes, fabrics, meshes, or mesh-like structures prepared from a statin containing biocompatible polymer wherein at least one statin covalently is covalently attached to the statin containing biocompatible polymer to the tissue.
