Abstract
A topical anti-aging skin care formulation comprising an effective amount of a benzoquinone, such as CoQ10, plus a synergistic pair of stabilizers and a synergistic pair of whiteners. The stabilizers are octyl salicylate and octyl methoxycinnamate. The whiteners are titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. When proper amounts of these ingredients are used in an aqueous based emulsion formulation, the product will be initially white, and will remain white for an extended period of time.

An anti-aging method for skin care, comprising the steps of applying a white CoQ10 formulation to skin areas that show fine lines, wrinkles, or other signs of aging, and continuing to apply said formulation until the desired improvement is achieved, said formulation comprising a white aqueous emulsion;
- at least 2 wt % CoQ10;
- octyl salicylate;
- octyl methoxy cinnamate;
- titanium dioxide;
- and
- zinc oxide.

- from 2.0 to 4.0 wt % CoQ10;
- from 1.0 to 2.0 wt % octyl salicylate;
- from 1.0 to 2.0 wt % octyl methoxycinnamate;
- from 0.1 to 1.0 wt % titanium dioxide;
- and
- from 0.005 to 1.0 wt % zinc oxide.
