Abstract
A video watermarking method resistant to temporal desynchronization attacks, of the type that comprises a watermark embedding, an attack stage and a watermark detection stage wherein during the watermarking embedding stage, the same watermark is hidden in a number of frames given by the mutual information between them; a temporal redundancy control is modified to hide a watermark in each possible I-frame; and during the watermark detection stage, the watermark extractor takes all the frames watermarked with the same key to extract its characteristics.
Claims15
A video watermarking method resistant to temporal desynchronization attacks, of the type that comprises a watermark embedding stage where the watermark is constructed and then embedded into an original signal to produce a watermarked signal using a finite state machine;
- an attack stage where the watermarked signal is subjected of different types of attacks;
- a watermark detection stage where a watermark extractor using a finite state machine examines and reports the watermarked signal and the initial synchronization is achieved by finding an initial synchronization key though analysis of the temporal media signal stream;
- characterized in that during the watermarking embedding stage, the same watermark is hidden in a number of frames given by the mutual information between them;
- a temporal redundancy control is modified to hide a watermark in each possible I-frame;
- and, during the watermark detection stage, the watermark extractor takes all the frames watermarked with the same key to extract its characteristics.
