Abstract
A method of manufacturing nanoparticles including: providing a metal chalcogenide complexes (MCC) hydrazine hydrate solution; providing a first organic solution of nanoparticles with first organic ligands; forming a mixed solution by mixing the MCC hydrazine hydrate solution and the first organic solution of nanoparticles capped with the first organic ligands; and replacing the first organic ligands of the nanoparticles with ligands of the MCC hydrazine hydrate.

A particle comprising:
- a nanoparticle comprising a semiconductor material and having a dimension of less than 100 nm;
- and
- inorganic ligands coupled to a surface of the nanoparticle, said inorganic ligands comprising hydrazine hydrate.
A method of manufacturing nanoparticles, the method comprising:
- providing a first solution comprising a metal chalcogenide complexes (MCC) hydrazine hydrate in a first solvent;
- providing a first organic solution of nanoparticles capped with first organic ligands in a first organic solvent;
- mixing the MCC hydrazine hydrate solution and the first organic solution of the first organic ligands-capped nanoparticles to give a mixed solution;
- and
- allowing the first organic ligands of the nanoparticles to be replaced with the MCC hydrazine hydrate in the mixed solution.
A method of manufacturing nanoparticles, the method comprising:
- providing a second organic solution of metal chalcogenide complexes (MCC) hydrazine hydrate;
- providing the second organic solution of nanoparticles capped with second organic ligands;
- mixing the second organic solution of the MCC hydrazine hydrate and the second organic solution of the nanoparticles capped with the second organic ligands to give a mixed solution;
- and
- allowing the second organic ligands of the nanoparticles to be replaced with ligands of the MCC hydrazine hydrate in the mixed solution.
A method of manufacturing nanoparticles, the method comprising:
- providing a second organic solution of metal chalcogenide complexes (MCC) hydrazine hydrate;
- providing a first organic solution of nanoparticles with first organic ligands;
- mixing the second organic solution of the MCC hydrazine hydrate and the first organic solution of the nanoparticles capped with the first organic ligands to give a mixed solution;
