Claims18
-13. (canceled)
An electrofluidic textile for manipulating a fluid, said electrofluidic textile comprising:
- a reservoir including an electrically conductive material, at least one void within said electrically conductive material, and a coating of an insulator lining said at least one void;
- and
- a voltage source electrically coupled with said electrically conductive material of said reservoir, said voltage source operable to bias said electrically conductive material for modifying a fluid capacity of said at least one void.
-33. (canceled)
A method of manipulating a fluid with a porous web of electrofluidic fibers, the method comprising:
- applying a first bias voltage to a conductive core of each of the electrofluidic fibers in the porous web effective to remove a fluid from a surface.
A method of filtering a fluid with a porous material, the method comprising:
- directing a flow of the fluid containing a substance through the porous material;
- and
- applying a first bias voltage to the porous material effective to remove the substance from the fluid.
