Abstract
A peel-resistant mechanism includes a body and a plurality of arms extending from the body such that a recess is defined between each pair of adjacent arms. At least one of the arms is positionable to facilitate restricting an edge disbond from spreading across the body of the patch.
Claims20
A method of providing a peel-resistant mechanism, said method comprising:
- positioning a body;
- and
- extending a plurality of arms from the body such that a recess is defined between each pair of adjacent arms, wherein at least one of the plurality of arms is positionable to facilitate restricting an edge disbond from spreading across the body.
A peel-resistant mechanism comprising:
- a body;
- and
- a plurality of arms extending from said body such that a recess is defined between each pair of adjacent arms, wherein at least one of said plurality of arms is positionable to facilitate restricting an edge disbond from spreading across said body.
A peel-resistant assembly comprising:
- a first peel-resistant mechanism comprising a first body and a first plurality of arms extending from said first body such that a first recess is defined between each pair of adjacent arms of said first plurality of arms;
- and
- a second peel-resistant mechanism comprising a second body and a second plurality of arms extending from said second body such that a second recess is defined between each pair of adjacent arms of said second plurality of arms.
