Information processing apparatus and method

A computer-readable recording medium storing a program that causes a first computer to execute a procedure, the procedure comprising:

• receiving destination information from a second computer, the destination information indicating a destination to which a file is transferred, the file being stored in a storage device included in the second computer;
• determining whether the destination information is included in permission target information, the permission target information including information indicating a target permitted to access the file;
• requesting, upon determining that the destination information is not included in the permission target information, the second computer to prompt, before the file is transferred, a user to input whether to permit the transfer;
• receiving the input from the second computer;
• and
• adding the destination information to the permission target information when the received input is a permission input for permitting the transfer.

An information processing apparatus connected to an input device and a storage device, the information processing apparatus comprising:

• a processor to
• determine whether destination information is included in permission target information, the destination information indicating a destination to which a file stored in the storage device is transferred, the permission target information including information indicating a target permitted to access the file;
• prompt before the file is transferred, upon determining that the destination information is not included in the permission target information, a user to input whether to permit the transfer;
• add the destination information to the permission target information upon receiving, via the input device, a permission input for permitting the transfer;
• and
• transfer the file upon receiving the permission input.

A method executed by a computer, the method comprising:

• determining, by the computer, whether destination information is included in permission target information, the destination information indicating a destination to which a file stored in a storage device is transferred, the permission target information including information indicating a target permitted to access the file;
• prompting before the file is transferred, upon determining that the destination information is not included in the permission target information, a user to input whether to permit the transfer;
• adding the destination information to the permission target information upon receiving, via an input device of the computer, a permission input for permitting the transfer;
• and
• transferring the file upon receiving the permission input.
