Abstract
Techniques for a resource management advice service are provided. In some examples, resource management advice and/or instructions may be provided for use with mobile devices, mobile applications, cloud applications, and/or other web-based applications. For example a mobile client may request to perform one or more resource management operations associated with a service provider. Based at least in part on the requested operation and/or the particular service provider, advice and/or instructions for managing the resource may be provided.
Claims20
A system, comprising:
- a memory storing a plurality of instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to access the memory, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to execute the plurality of instructions to:
- receive a request to manage a resource of a service provider;
- determine, based at least in part on the service provider associated with the resource, operational advice for managing the resource;
- and
- provide the determined operational advice to a client application.
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- receiving, by a computer system, a request to manage a secure resource of a service provider, the request received from a client application;
- determining, by the computer system, an instruction to be performed by the client application based at least in part on the received request and the service provider;
- transmitting, by the computer system, the determined instruction to the client application.
The computer-implemented method of 6, wherein the client application comprises a mobile client application, a Rich Internet Application (RIA), or a software as a service (SaaS) application.
The computer-implemented method of 6, wherein the request to manage the secure resource comprises a request to access the secure resource.
A computer-readable memory storing a plurality of instructions executable by one or more processors, the plurality of instructions comprising:
- instructions that cause the one or more processors to receive, from a client application, a request to manage a secure resource of a service provider;
- instructions that cause the one or more processors to determine, based at least in part on the request and the service provider, an acquisition path for performing the management of the secure resource;
- instructions that cause the one or more processors to generate, based at least in part on the determined acquisition path, an instruction set for following the acquisition path, the instruction set comprising at least one instruction;
- and
- instructions that cause the one or more processors to transmit the instruction set to the client application.
