Method and apparatus for sending a push content

An apparatus supporting a message push mechanism, comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing programs for execution by the processor, the programs comprising instructions to:
• compare a content length of a content of a push message received from a push message initiator (PI) with a matching condition, wherein the matching condition comprising a maximum message length threshold specifying a maximum length allowed for the content of the push message;
• determine whether the content length of the content of the push message exceeds the maximum message length threshold;
• and
• send the content of the push message to a push receiving agent of a terminal when the content length of the content of the push message does not exceed the maximum message length threshold.

A computer program product stored on a non-transitory computer readable medium comprising computer executable instruction that when executed implement the following:

• compare a content length of a content of a push message received from a push message initiator (PI) with a matching condition, wherein the matching condition comprising a maximum message length threshold specifying a maximum length allowed for the content of the push message;
• determine whether the content length of the content of the push message exceeds the maximum message length threshold;
• and
• send the content of the push message to a push receiving agent of a terminal when the content length of the content of the push message does not exceed the maximum message length threshold.
