Abstract
A computer-implemented method for determining a configuration of a plurality of components in a systems installation which satisfies one or more constraints.
Claims15
A computer-implemented method for determining all possible configurations of a plurality of components in a systems installation which satisfy one or more constraints, the method comprising:
- receiving a set of physical properties associated with each of the plurality of components;
- receiving a set of constraints relating to arranging the plurality of components;
- determining all possible configurations of the plurality of components that satisfies all of the constraints in said set of constraints;
- generating a representation of at least one of the determined configurations of the plurality of components that satisfies all of the constraints in said set of constraints;
- and
- displaying the representation to a user.
