Abstract
The present embodiments relate to a magnetic resonance system for carrying out magnetic resonance measurements in an intraoral region. The magnetic resonance system includes a magnetic resonance coil element and an intraoral measuring device that measures the position of a number of measuring points situated in the intraoral region.

A magnetic resonance system for carrying out magnetic resonance measurements in an intraoral region, the magnetic resonance system comprising:
- a magnetic resonance coil element;
- and
- an intraoral measuring device that measures a position of a number of measuring points situated in the intraoral region.
A method for carrying out magnetic resonance measurements in an intraoral region using a magnetic resonance system having at least one magnetic resonance coil element and an intraoral measuring device, the method comprising:
- acquiring raw data using the magnetic resonance coil element;
- reconstructing magnetic resonance image data on the basis of the acquired raw data;
- measuring positions of a number of measuring points situated in an intraoral region using the intraoral measuring device;
- and
- correcting the magnetic resonance image data using the measured positions.
