Abstract
In one aspect of the present invention, a system has a data acquisition device for acquiring data from a component. The component has an identification transmitter. The data acquisition device has an image acquisition mechanism to capture an image of the component and a receiver to receive a signal from the identification transmitter. The data acquisition device also has a processor to process data from the image acquisition mechanism and the receiver.
Claims20
A system for acquiring data from a component, comprising:
- a component comprising an identification transmitter;
- a data acquisition device comprising an image acquisition mechanism configured to capture an image of the component and a receiver configured to receive a signal from the identification transmitter;
- and
- the data acquisition device comprising a processor configured to process data from the image acquisition mechanism and the receiver.
