Abstract
A composition of a release coating, for furnishing a release liner with a layer of the release coating, has a release agent and 0.01% by weight to 30% by weight (based on the overall composition) of a finely particulate additive in the form of three-dimensional bodies based on polymers prepared from vinyl building blocks.
Claims18
A composition of a release coating comprising:
- a release agent;
- and
- 0.01% by weight to 30% by weight, based on a total composition, of a finely particulate additive in a form of three-dimensional bodies based on polymers prepared from vinyl building blocks.
A release liner comprising a backing film and a solvent-containing release coating, wherein the solvent-containing release coating comprises:
- a release agent selected from the group consisting of biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate, polybutene, polypropylene, polyethylene, monoaxially oriented polypropylene, biaxially oriented polypropylene and polyethylene;
- and
- 1 to 8 wt %, based on a total weight of the solvent-containing release coating, of a finely particulate additive in a form of three-dimensional bodies based on polymers prepared from vinyl building blocks.
