Abstract
System and method for styling hair, characterized by a composition comprising about 1 to about 10 wt % of cysteamine, or a cosmetically acceptable derivative thereof as a primary reducing agent; and a composition comprising about 0.01% to about 2 wt. % of hydrogen peroxide, a cationic silicone compound, and a fatty acid ester.
Claims21
A hair styling system comprising:
- a) a first composition comprising about 1 to about 10 wt % of cysteamine, or a cosmetically acceptable derivative thereof as a primary reducing agent;
- and
- b) a second composition comprising about 0.01% to about 2 wt. % of hydrogen peroxide, a cationic silicone compound, and a fatty acid ester.
A method of treating hair, comprising adding to the hair a composition comprising cysteamine in an amount of 4-7 wt %.
