Abstract
The present disclosure provides a scrubbing composition containing an aqueous solution of 2-(3-aminopropoxy)ethan-1-ol. The scrubbing composition is especially suited for use in removing acid gases, such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, from gas streams.
Claims14
A scrubbing composition for removing acid gases from a fluid comprising an aqueous solution of 2-(3-aminopropoxy)ethan-1-ol.
A process for the separation of carbon dioxide and/or hydrogen sulfide from a fluid stream comprising contacting the gas stream with a scrubbing composition comprising an aqueous solution of 2-(3-aminopropoxy)ethan-1-ol.
A scrubbing composition prepared by diluting a gas treating concentrate comprising 2-(3-aminopropoxy)ethan-1-ol with water.
