Abstract
An image processing apparatus includes a memory provided with a first memory area and a second memory area, and a processor that stores program related data in the first memory area and image related data in the second memory area, separately. When the image processing apparatus is in an energy save mode, the processor shuts down electric power supply to the second memory area storing the image related data.
Claims12
An image processing apparatus, comprising:
- a memory provided with a first memory area and a second memory area;
- and
- a processor to:
- store program related data including a program that causes the image processing apparatus to perform specific operation and data related to the program in the first memory area, and image related data including image data to be processed by the processor and data relating to the image data in the second memory area, separately, when the image processing apparatus is in a normal operation mode;
- and
- shut down electric power supply to the second memory area storing the image related data when the image processing apparatus is in an energy save mode.
A method of controlling electric power supply to a memory in an image processing apparatus, the memory being provided with a first memory area and a second memory area, the method comprising:
- storing program related data including a program that causes the image processing apparatus to perform specific operation and data related to the program in the first memory area, and image related data including image data to be processed by the processor and data relating to the image data in the second memory area, separately, when the image processing apparatus is in a normal operation mode;
- and
- shutting down electric power supply to the second memory area storing the image related data when the image processing apparatus is in an energy save mode.
A non-transitory recording medium storing a plurality of instructions which, when executed, cause a processor to perform a method of controlling electric power supply to a memory in an image processing apparatus, the memory being provided with a first memory area and a second memory area, the method comprising:
- storing program related data including a program that causes the image processing apparatus to perform specific operation and data related to the program in the first memory area, and image related data including image data to be processed by the processor and data relating to the image data in the second memory area, separately, when the image processing apparatus is in a normal operation mode;
- and
- shutting down electric power supply to the second memory area storing the image related data when the image processing apparatus is in an energy save mode.
