Abstract
Systems and methods are described for generating and using a flexible scene framework to render dynamically-generated content within contextual scenes to personalize a customer's web experience.
Claims39
A method, comprising:
- receiving an electronic document implementing a personalized product design of a customer;
- receiving a scene description, the scene description comprising computer-readable scene rendering instructions for compositing at least one scene image and at least one injectable scene element, and for performing at least one image transformation on at least one of the at least one scene image and the at least one injectable scene element, the at least one injectable scene element comprising a variable element that replaces a placeholder element in the scene description when the scene description is processed;
- receiving by one or more processors the scene description and one or more injectable scene elements, at least one of the one or more injectable scene elements comprising the electronic document;
- processing the received scene description to replace corresponding one or more placeholder elements in the scene description with the one or more injectable scene elements, and to perform the at least one image transformation and the compositing specified in the scene description to generate a composite scene image depicting the received injectable scene elements in a scene;
- and
- embedding the personalized composite scene image into a browser-renderable document for display to the customer.
3 more elements
Non-transitory computer readable storage tangibly embodying program instructions which, when executed by a computer, implement a method for generating scenes with dynamically-generated content for display, the method comprising:
- receiving an electronic document implementing a personalized product design of a customer;
- receiving a scene description, the scene description comprising computer-readable scene rendering instructions for compositing at least one scene image and at least one injectable scene element, and for performing at least one image transformation on at least one of the at least one scene image and the at least one injectable scene element, the at least one injectable scene element comprising a variable element that replaces a placeholder element in the scene description when the scene description is processed;
- receiving by one or more processors the scene description and one or more injectable scene elements, at least one of the one or more injectable scene elements comprising the electronic document;
- processing the received scene description to replace corresponding one or more placeholder elements in the scene description with the one or more injectable scene elements, and to perform the at least one image transformation and the compositing specified in the scene description to generate a composite scene image depicting the received injectable scene elements in a scene;
- and
- embedding the personalized composite scene image into a browser-renderable document for display to the customer.
3 more elements
A system for generating a personalized scene, comprising:
- computer-readable storage retaining one or more injectable scene elements, one or more scene images, and one or more scene descriptions, wherein at least one of the scene images comprises one or more placeholder locations for placement of injectable scene elements, and wherein each scene description comprises computer-readable scene rendering instructions for compositing at least one scene image and at least one injectable scene element and for performing at least one image transformation on at least one of the at least one scene image and the at least one injectable scene element;
- one or more processors configured to receive one or more injectable scene elements and to process at least one of the scene descriptions to thereby inject the received injectable scene elements into corresponding placeholder locations in one or more scene images specified in the scene description and to perform one or more image transformations and compositing of the received one or more injectable scene elements and the specified one or more scene images as instructed by the scene description to generate a composite scene image depicting the received one or more injectable scene elements in a scene.
