Abstract
The present invention relates to flame-retardant Lyocell fibers which include incorporated inorganic additives which are particularly suited for use in flame barriers for articles of manufacture, such as mattresses and upholstered furniture applications.

A flame barrier comprising a fibrous material which comprises about 20% (w/w) to about 100% (w/w), of flame-retardant Lyocell fibers which comprise from about 12% to about 50% (w/w) of incorporated inorganic additives.
A flame-retardant Lyocell fiber comprising from about 12% to about 50% (w/w) incorporated inorganic additives.
