Claims14
A vehicle-side connector (10) to be connected to a charging connector for charging a battery of a vehicle (B), comprising:
- a connecting portion (33) made of synthetic resin and to be connected to the charging connector;
- a mounting piece (31) made of synthetic resin and integral with an outer surface of the connecting portion (33);
- at least one collar (34) with a flange (34A) engaging the mounting piece (31) in a connecting direction;
- and
- at least one reinforcing plate (41) provided from the mounting piece (31) to the connecting portion (33).
A vehicle-side connector (10) to be connected to a charging connector for charging a battery of a vehicle (B), comprising:
- a connecting portion (33) made of synthetic resin, the connecting portion (33) having a front end configured to be connected to the charging connector and a rear end spaced rearward from the front end in forward and backward directions (FBD);
- a mounting piece (31) made of synthetic resin and projecting unitarily out from an outer surface of the connecting portion (33) at a position rearward of the front end of the connecting portion (33), holding portions (40) at positions on the mounting piece outward of the connecting portion (33), each holding portion (40) including a hole penetrating through the mounting piece (31) and an annular wall surrounding the hole, the annular wall of each of the holding portions (40) being thicker in forward and backward directions (FBD) than other parts of the mounting piece (31) and projecting forward from adjacent areas of the mounting piece (31);
- collars (34) mounted respectively in the holes of the holding portions (40), each of the collars (34) having a flange (34A) with a rearward facing surface engaging a forward facing surface at a part of the mounting piece (31) surrounded by the annular wall of the holding portion (40);
- and
- reinforcing plates (41) extending unitarily between the connecting portion (33) and the holding portions (40).
