Abstract
A method of preparing a sequencing device includes determining a sensitivity of a pH of a solution to a first reagent, determining an amount of the first reagent to add to the solution to approach a target pH, adding the amount of the first reagent to the solution, and diluting a nucleotide solution with the solution.
Claims27
A method of preparing a sequencing device, the method comprising:
- determining a sensitivity of a pH of a solution to a first reagent;
- determining an amount of the first reagent to add to the solution to approach a target pH;
- adding the amount of the first reagent to the solution;
- and
- diluting a nucleotide solution with the solution.

A method of protocol monitoring, the method comprising:
- from each of a plurality of sequencing devices, receiving an indication of an amount of a reagent added to a solution to adjust the pH of the solution to within a range of a target pH;
- determining an error state based at least in part on the received indications;
- and
- notifying an administrator of the determined error state.
