A phospholipid derivative represented by the following formula (1)
- wherein
- R1 and R2 are each independently an acyl group having 8-24 carbon atoms or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 8-24 carbon atoms,
- R3 is a branched chain or cyclic divalent hydrocarbon group having 2-12 carbon atoms,
- a is an integer of 0-5,
- M is a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal or an ammonio group,
- PG is a residue derived from polyglycerol,
- k1 is an integer of 2-50, and
- k2≧k3 and k2+k3=k1+1 are satisfied.
