Abstract
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to a technique for communicating Channel State Information (CSI) feedback. In some aspects, the CSI feedback is communicated in a very high throughput (VHT) wireless communications system.
Claims29
An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:
- a processing system configured to determine a modulation coding scheme (MCS) or a rate for receiving channel state information;
- and
- a transmitter configured to transmit a frame comprising a control field indicating the determined MCS or the determined rate and at least one field indicating that at least a portion of channel state information is requested.
A method of wireless communication, comprising:
- determining a modulation coding scheme (MCS) or a rate for receiving channel state information;
- and
- transmitting a frame comprising a control field indicating the determined MCS or the determined rate and at least one field indicating that at least a portion of channel state information is requested.
An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:
- means for determining a modulation coding scheme (MCS) or a rate for receiving channel state information;
- and
- means for transmitting a frame comprising a control field indicating the determined MCS or the determined rate and at least one field indicating that at least a portion of channel state information is requested.
A computer program product for wirelessly communicating comprising a computer readable medium comprising instructions that when executed cause an apparatus to:
- determine a modulation coding scheme (MCS) or a rate for receiving channel state information;
- and
- transmit a frame comprising a control field indicating the determined MCS or the determined rate and at least one field indicating that at least a portion of channel state information is requested.
An access point for wireless communication, comprising:
- an antenna;
- a processing system configured to determine a modulation coding scheme (MCS) or a rate for receiving channel state information;
- and
- a transmitter configured to transmit, via the antenna, a frame comprising a control field indicating the determined MCS or the determined rate and at least one field indicating that at least a portion of channel state information is requested.
