Abstract
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a liquid ejecting head which ejects toward a landing target liquid from a nozzle opened in an electrically grounded nozzle formation face; a support section which is disposed spaced apart from the nozzle formation face of the liquid ejecting head when performing an ejection operation and supports the landing target; and a voltage application section which applies voltage to the support section, wherein the voltage which is applied to the support section is set to be equal to or higher than −305 V and lower than 0 V.
Claims2
A liquid ejecting apparatus comprising:
- a liquid ejecting head which ejects liquid toward a landing target from a nozzle opened in an electrically grounded nozzle formation face;
- a support section which is disposed spaced apart from the nozzle formation face of the liquid ejecting head when performing an ejection operation and supports the landing target;
- and
- a voltage application section which applies voltage to the support section,
- wherein the voltage which is applied to the support section is set to be equal to or higher than −305 V and lower than 0 V.
A method of controlling a liquid ejecting apparatus which includes
- a liquid ejecting head which ejects liquid toward a landing target from a nozzle opened in an electrically grounded nozzle formation face;
- a support section which is disposed spaced apart from the nozzle formation face of the liquid ejecting head when performing an ejection operation and supports the landing target;
- and
- a voltage application section which applies voltage to the support section,
- the method comprising:
- setting the voltage which is applied to the support section to be equal to or higher than −305 V and lower than 0 V.
