Abstract
A method includes displaying, on a touch-sensitive display, information associated with a first application and information associated with a second application, detecting on the touch-sensitive display, a touch at a first location associated with the first application, reporting the touch as a first touch type to the first application, and when the first touch type is not utilized by the first application within a threshold period of time and when movement of the touch on the touch-sensitive display is detected, reporting the touch to the second application.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- displaying, on a touch-sensitive display, information associated with a first application and information associated with a second application;
- detecting on the touch-sensitive display, a touch at a first location associated with the first application;
- reporting the touch as a first touch type to the first application;
- when the first touch type is not utilized by the first application within a threshold period of time and when movement of the touch on the touch-sensitive display is detected, reporting the touch to the second application.
An electronic device comprising:
- a touch-sensitive display;
- a processor coupled to the touch-sensitive display to display information associated with a first application and information associated with a second application, detect a touch at a first location associated with the first application, report the touch as a first touch type to the first application, and when the first touch type is not utilized by the first application within a threshold period of time and when movement of the touch on the touch-sensitive display is detected, report the touch to the second application.
