Abstract
The chair according to the invention has a seat and a seat mechanism, the seat being coupled to the seat mechanism in such a manner that the seat is, in a front end region, pivotably supported about a first axis of rotation which is orientated parallel with the axis of a user's knees. In addition, in its front end region, the seat is also supported on the seat mechanism so as to be rotatable about a second axis of rotation orientated perpendicularly to the first axis of rotation.
