Abstract
The described implementations relate to data classification. One implementation includes identifying one or more likely classifications for an incoming data item using an algorithm. The implementation can also include providing the one or more identified classifications to a user. A selection of an individual identified classification for the incoming data item can be received from the user. The algorithm can be refined to reflect the selection by the user.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- identifying one or more potential classifications for an incoming data item using an algorithm;
- providing the one or more identified potential classifications to a user via an interface;
- receiving a selection, from the user, of an individual identified classification for the incoming data item;
- and
- refining the algorithm to reflect the selection by the user.
One or more computer-readable storage media comprising instructions which, when executed by one or more processing devices, perform:
- identifying one or more likely classifications for a data item from a working set of classifications, the likely classifications being identified using an algorithm;
- providing the one or more likely classifications to an entity via an interface;
- receiving, from the entity, a selection of an individual likely classification for the data item;
- and
- refining the algorithm to reflect the selection by the entity of the selected classification.
A system comprising:
- an algorithm engine configured to recommend tickets to which an incoming alarm can be assigned;
- an interface module configured to:
- provide the recommended tickets and the incoming alarm to a user via a graphical user interface;
- and
- receive a selection, from the user, of an individual ticket to which the incoming alarm is assigned, the selection being received via the graphical user interface;
- and
- an algorithm update module configured to refine the algorithm to reflect the selection.
