Method For Acquiring, Processing and Transmitting Acoustic Energy Data

A method of acquiring, processing and transmitting acoustic energy data comprising:

• utilizing a sensor to convert acoustic energy into an electrical output;
• converting said electrical output to digital data;
• processing said digital data by use of a processing unit;
• initiating transmission of said digital data over a wireless network;
• supplying electrical current to said processing unit through a battery;
• and
• passing an analogue signal through a connector.

A method of acquiring, processing and transmitting acoustic energy data comprising:

• receiving an output over a wireless network from an apparatus comprising:
• a sensor configured to convert analogue signals into an electrical output;
• a wireless network configured for transmission of a representation of output from said sensor;
• an analogue to digital converter coupled to said sensor, wherein said electrical output is transformed into a stream of digital data;
• a processing unit configured to receive said stream of digital data;
• and
• a battery configured to supply electrical energy to at least one component of said apparatus.

A method of acquiring, processing and transmitting acoustic energy data comprising:

• transmitting an output over a wireless network to an apparatus comprising:
• a sensor for converting analogue signals into an electrical output;
• a wireless network for transmission of the electrical output from said sensor and access to an internet;
• an analogue to digital converter coupled to said sensor, wherein said electrical output is transformed into a stream of digital data;
• a processing unit configured to receive said stream of digital data and coupled to an electronic memory;
• and
• a universal serial bus receptacle coupled to said processing unit, wherein said output to said apparatus is stored in said electronic memory.
