Abstract
[Problem] There are provided a blocked polyisocyanate capable of imparting long-term water resistance and water repellency to a base material, and excellent in low-temperature curability and storage stability, and an aqueous composition containing the same. [Solution] The blocked polyisocyanate has both of a blocked isocyanate group blocked with a pyrazole compound and a cationic group neutralized with an anion, in one molecule thereof.

A blocked polyisocyanate, being obtained by using a polyisocyanate derived from an aliphatic and/or an alicyclic diisocyanate monomer, as a precursor, and comprising both of a blocked isocyanate group blocked with a pyrazole compound and a cationic group neutralized with an anion, in one molecule thereof.
