Abstract
Systems and methods for allocating and transmitting uplink data block transmissions with piggy-backed ACK/NACK bitmap field are provided. In a specific example, a mobile station receives a request for a data block combined with control information (DBCCI). The mobile station responds by transmitting a DBCCI using at least one timeslot corresponding to a timeslot used for the request. At least some of the time, the mobile station sends data blocks in an order different than that would be otherwise used (e.g. block sequence order).

1-24. (canceled)
A method, comprising:
- receiving, over a wireless channel, a request for a data block combined with control information (DBCCI);
- receiving uplink allocation for data blocks (UADBs) defining a plurality of allocated timeslots including a first allocated timeslot;
- and
- transmitting the DBCCI in a first radio block defined by the first allocated timeslot irrespective of within which timeslot the request was received.
A computer program product encoded on a tangible, non-transitory storage medium, the product comprising computer readable instructions for causing one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, over a wireless channel, a request for a data block combined with control information (DBCCI);
- receiving uplink allocation for data blocks (UADBs) defining a plurality of allocated timeslots including a first allocated timeslot;
- and
- transmitting the DBCCI in a first radio block defined by the first allocated timeslot irrespective of within which timeslot the request was received.
User equipment, comprising:
- one or more processors configured to:
- receive, over a wireless channel, a request for a data block combined with control information (DBCCI);
- receive uplink allocation for data blocks (UADBs) defining a plurality of allocated timeslots including a first allocated timeslot;
- and
- transmit the DBCCI in a first radio block defined by the first allocated timeslot irrespective of within which timeslot the request was received.
