Abstract
A cuvette comprising a cuvette wall for limiting a sample reception space for receiving a fluid sample is disclosed. The cuvette wall is adapted to allow a traversal of measurement radiation through the fluid sample situated within the sample reception space. An information presenter is fixed at the cuvette wall. The information presenter wirelessly provides data to be transferred to an external data reception module. The data to be transferred relates to the cuvette. Further, an optical measurement apparatus is described.
Claims20
A cuvette, comprising:
- a cuvette wall for limiting a sample reception space for receiving a fluid sample, wherein the cuvette wall is adapted to allow a traversal of measurement radiation through the fluid sample situated within the sample reception space;
- an information presenter for wirelessly providing data to be transferred to an external data reception module, wherein the data relate to the cuvette,
- wherein the information presenter is fixed at the cuvette wall.
An optical measurement apparatus, comprising:
- a radiation source for generating a measurement radiation;
- a cuvette arranged in a radiation path of the measurement radiation, the cuvette having a cuvette wall for limiting a sample reception space for receiving a fluid sample, the cuvette wall adapted to allow a traversal of measurement radiation through the fluid sample situated within the sample reception space;
- an information presenter fixed at the cuvette wall for wirelessly providing data to be transferred related to the cuvette;
- a measurement radiation receiver which is arranged and adapted to detect intensity values of the measurement radiation, which has traversed through the sample reception space of the cuvette;
- a data reception module which is adapted for receiving the data of the information presenter, wherein the data relate to the cuvette;
- and
- an evaluation unit which is adapted to evaluate the intensity values of the measurement radiation based on the received data related to the cuvette, to determine an optical property of a sample within the sample reception space.
