Image processing device, image processing method, and program

An image processing device comprising:

• an image acquisition unit configured to acquire a plurality of images captured by a camera array image capturing device having a plurality of image capturing units the exposure conditions of which are different from one another;
• an overlap region database storing the overlap region calculated in advance based on parameters relating to the plurality of image capturing units;
• and
• a blurred image detection unit configured to detect an image including a blur using the region image of the plurality of images corresponding to the overlap region stored in the overlap region database.

An image processing method, the method comprising the steps of:

• acquiring a plurality of images captured by a camera array image capturing device having a plurality of image capturing units the exposure conditions of which are different from one another;
• calculating an overlap region in which field angles overlap in the plurality of image capturing units from the acquired plurality of images;
• and
• detecting an image including a blur using a region image of the plurality of images corresponding to the calculated overlap region.
