Abstract
There is provided an electronic apparatus including a first battery and a second battery, a control unit configured to control an operation of the electronic apparatus, a first switch configured to switch whether or not to supply power from the first battery to the control unit, and a second switch configured to switch whether or not to supply a potential from the second battery to the first switch. When power from the first battery is supplied to the control unit, the control unit applies to the first switch a potential for supplying power from the first battery to the control unit.
Claims8
An electronic apparatus comprising:
- a first battery and a second battery;
- a control unit configured to control an operation of the electronic apparatus;
- a first switch configured to switch whether or not to supply power from the first battery to the control unit;
- and
- a second switch configured to switch whether or not to supply a potential from the second battery to the first switch,
- wherein when power from the first battery is supplied to the control unit, the control unit applies to the first switch a potential for supplying power from the first battery to the control unit.
A power supply control method for an electronic apparatus, the electronic apparatus including a first battery and a second battery, a control unit configured to control an operation of the electronic apparatus, a first switch configured to switch whether or not to supply power from the first battery to the control unit, and a second switch configured to switch whether or not to supply a potential from the second battery to the first switch, the method comprising:
- applying a potential from the second battery to the first switch by the second switch;
- and
- applying to the first switch, when the first switch is turned on and power from the first battery is supplied to the control unit, a potential for supplying power from the first battery to the control unit.
