Abstract
A method for producing a long fiber nonwoven fabric includes (a) melting resin containing polyphenylene sulfide as main component, discharging it from a spinneret, solidifying resulting filaments by cooling and stretching the filaments by pulling them out of an ejector at a spinning speed of 3,000 m/min or more while heat-treating as the filaments travel to the ejector outlet to provide a long fiber; (b) collecting the long fiber on a moving net to form a nonwoven web; and (c) subjecting the nonwoven web to thermal bonding.
Claims14
A method for producing a long fiber nonwoven comprising steps (a) to (c) in sequence:
- (a) melting resin containing polyphenylene sulfide as main component, discharging it from a spinneret, solidifying the resulting filaments by cooling, and stretching the filaments by pulling them out of an ejector at a spinning speed of 3,000 m/min or more while heat-treating as the filaments travel to the ejector outlet to provide a long fiber;
- (b) collecting the long fiber on a moving net to form a nonwoven web;
- and
- (c) subjecting the resulting nonwoven web to thermal bonding.
