Abstract
A household appliance (100) has an external casing (110) housing a rotatable drum assembly (320) and adapted to be mounted to a wall (105). The casing is shaped so as to define therein a tub (305) for rotatably accommodating the rotatable drum assembly.

A household appliance comprising an external casing housing a rotatable drum assembly and adapted to be mounted to a wall, wherein said casing is shaped so as to define therein a tub for rotatably accommodating the rotatable drum assembly.
The household appliance of claim 18, wherein the back wall of the tub has a portion either formed by injection moulding directly over said sleeve, or formed by injection moulding directly over said bearings so as to define said sleeve.
