Abstract
A memory system according to the embodiment comprises a memory device including a plurality of memory cells operative to store storage data, the storage containing input data from external to which parity information is added; and a memory controller operative to convert between the input data and the storage data, the storage data containing information data corresponding to the input data, and a relationship between the information data and the input data being nonlinearly.
Claims20
A memory system, comprising:
- a memory device including a plurality of memory cells operative to store storage data, said storage data containing input data from external to which parity information is added;
- and
- a memory controller operative to convert between said input data and said storage data,
- said storage data containing information data corresponding to said input data, and a relationship between said information data and said input data being nonlinearly.
A memory system, comprising:
- a memory device including a plurality of memory cells operative to store storage data, said storage data containing input data from external to which parity information is added;
- and
- a memory controller operative to convert between said input data and said storage data,
- said storage data containing information data corresponding to said input data, said information data having the same number of bits as said input data,
- said input data including first input data and second input data that are complementarily related, said information data corresponding to said first input data being defined as first information data, said information data corresponding to said second input data being defined as second information data, and
- a result of a modulo 2 sum of said first information data and said second information data including 1 bit of ‘0’ data.
A memory controller capable of controlling a memory device including plural memory cells operative to store storage data, wherein
- said memory controller, when controlling said memory device, converts between input data from external and said storage data, said storage data containing said input data to which parity information is added, and
- a relationship between said and said input data is nonlinearly.
