Abstract
A method for generating a Doppler image by using a ultrasound system, the method including: transmitting a ultrasound signal to an object and receiving a response signal reflected from the object; converting the response signal into a plurality of in-phase/quadrature-phase (I/Q) signals having different frequencies; and generating a Doppler image of the object based on information about a speed of the object obtained from the plurality of I/Q signals.

A method for generating a Doppler image by using a ultrasound system, the method comprising:
- transmitting a ultrasound signal to an object and receiving a response signal reflected from the object;
- converting the response signal into a plurality of in-phase/quadrature-phase (I/Q) signals having different frequencies;
- and
- generating a Doppler image of the object based on information about a speed of the object obtained from the plurality of I/Q signals.

An apparatus for generating a Doppler image, comprising:
- a probe for transmitting a ultrasound signal to an object and for receiving a response signal reflected from the object;
- an in-phase/quadrature-phase (I/Q) demodulation unit for converting the response signal into a plurality of I/Q signals having different frequencies;
- and
- an image processing unit for generating a Doppler image of the object based on information about a speed of the object obtained from the plurality of I/Q signals.
