Abstract
The present invention relates to oligomer compounds (oligomers) for the treatment and prevention of acute myeloid leukemia, which target GLI2 mRNA in a cell, leading to reduced expression of GLI2.

A method for treating acute myeloid leukemia or preleukemia, comprising administering to a patient an oligomer comprising between 10-30 nucleobases wherein the oligomer comprises a contiguous nucleobase sequence of a total of between 10-30 nucleobases, wherein said contiguous nucleobase sequence has no mismatches or no more than one or two mismatches with a corresponding region of SEQ ID NO 1.
