Abstract
Compounds I and II as well as salts and pharmaceutical compositions containing them are useful for treating diseases and/or disorders of the skin, such as cutaneous lupus, for example acute cutaneous lupus erythematosus, subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus, or discoid lupus erythematosus. In certain embodiments, the compounds are provided in topical compositions.
Claims24
A method of treating cutaneous lupus, comprising topically administering to a subject having cutaneous lupus an effective amount of a compound of formula I and/or II, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt form thereof.
A formulation comprising compound I and/or compound II, where the formulation is a topical dosage form.
A method of treating a subject having chronic cutaneous lupus erythematosus, comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a compound of formula I and/or II, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt form thereof.
A kit comprising a pharmaceutical formulation comprising compound I and/or compound II, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt form thereof, for administration of the pharmaceutical formulation to the skin.
