Abstract
A fiber optic splice enclosure system includes an enclosure and first and second endplate assemblies. The enclosure defines an enclosure chamber. The first and second endplate assemblies are adapted to be interchangeably mounted on the enclosure to provide different respective configurations for connecting fiber optic cables to the enclosure.

A fiber optic splice enclosure system comprising:
- an enclosure defining an enclosure chamber;
- and
- first and second endplate assemblies adapted to be interchangeably mounted on the enclosure to provide different respective configurations for connecting fiber optic cables to the enclosure.
A method for using a fiber optic splice system, comprising:
- providing a fiber optic splice enclosure system including:
- an enclosure defining an enclosure chamber;
- and
- first and second endplate assemblies adapted to be interchangeably mounted on the enclosure to provide different respective configurations for connecting fiber optic cables to the enclosure;
- selecting one of the first and second endplate assemblies;
- and
- mounting the selected one of the first and second endplate assemblies on the enclosure.
