Abstract
The present invention discloses a compound comprising an expanded percarbonate salt having less than about 24 wt. % hydrogen peroxide. Also disclosed in this invention is a composition including the above-mentioned compound and a liquid loaded thereon. Further, there is disclosed a method of manufacturing the above-described compound.

A compound comprising an expanded percarbonate salt having less than about 24 wt. % hydrogen peroxide.
A composition comprising:
- a compound including an expanded percarbonate salt having less than about 24 wt. % hydrogen peroxide;
- and
- liquid loaded onto said expanded percarbonate salt.
A method of manufacturing an expanded percarbonate salt comprising:
- providing a percarbonate salt;
- adding water in amount of 0.01 to 4 wt. % of said percarbonate salt forming a hydrated percarbonate salt;
- and
- heating said percarbonate salt from about 135 to 180° C. for a time ranging from about 2 minutes to three hours.
