Abstract
A robot according to the embodiment includes a motor, a speed reducer that transmits a driving force of the motor to a link, and a detecting unit that detects a rotation angle of an output shaft of the speed reducer, and the detecting unit is connected to the output shaft of the speed reducer via a shaft coupling.

- a motor;
- a speed reducer that transmits a driving force of the motor to a link;
- and
- a detecting unit that detects a rotation angle of an output shaft of the speed reducer, wherein
- the detecting unit is connected to the output shaft of the speed reducer via a shaft coupling.
