Abstract
A communication device including a comparison unit that compares a first identification number of which notification is provided by a packet that sequentially assigns identification numbers to a plurality of nodes in a network, and a second identification number, which is assigned to the communication device. A control unit notifies other nodes of the second identification number and that the identification number of the communication device has not been changed when the first identification number and the second identification number are in non-conformance.
Claims11
A communication device comprising:
- a comparison unit that compares a first identification number of which notification is provided by a packet that sequentially assigns identification numbers to a plurality of nodes in a network, and a second identification number, which is assigned to the communication device;
- and
- a control unit that notifies other nodes of the second identification number and that the identification number of the communication device has not been changed when the first identification number and the second identification number are in non-conformance.
A network system comprising a plurality of nodes coupled to one another by a bus cable, wherein at least one of the nodes includes:
- a comparison unit that compares a first identification number of which notification is provided by a packet that sequentially assigns identification numbers to the nodes, and a second identification number, which is assigned to the at least one of the nodes;
- and
- a control unit that notifies other nodes of the second identification number and that the identification number of the at least one of the nodes has not been changed when the first identification number and the second identification number are in non-conformance.
A method for performing communication in a network, the method comprising:
- comparing a first identification number of which notification is provided by a packet that sequentially assigns identification numbers to a plurality of nodes in the network, and a second identification number, which is assigned to each of the nodes;
- and
- notifying other nodes of the second identification number and that the identification number has not been changed when the first identification number and the second identification number are in non-conformance.
