Abstract
A method of using a assembly facilitator for a pulp-molded shell with polymer liner containing systems to precisely create a integral pulp molded shell is disclosed along with the assembly facilitator itself
Claims20
A method of using a assembly device for a pulp-molded shell with polymer liner containing systems to precisely create a integral pulp molded shell comprising;
- receiving a first surface of a first part of a pulp shell and a second surface of a second part of the pulp shell;
- preparing a connection facilitator to assist in connecting the first part of the pulp shell and the second part of the pulp shell;
- setting the assembly device in an open position;
- inserting the first part of the pulp shell and the second part of the pulp shell into the dedicated cavities of the device,
- registering and inserting a fitment with the liner into the assembly device;
- aligning the fitment with the alignment protuberance in the pulp shell;
- closing the assembly device to bring the pulp shell parts together in a controlled and aligned way around the fitment and the liner;
- and
- introducing pressurized gas into the liner through the fitment.

An assembly device to assist in precisely creating a pulp-molded shell with polymer liner container comprising:
- a first part of the assembly device adapted to receive a first pulp shell part in a cavity wherein the first shell part has a first surface that is adapted to receive a connection facilitator;
- a second part of the assembly device adapted to receive a second pulp shell part in a cavity wherein the second shell part has a second surface that is adapted to receive a connection facilitator;
- and
- an alignment device that assists in aligning the first part of the assembly device and the second part of the assemble device from an open state to a closed state such that the first surface and second surface are connected in a controlled manner around a liner with a fitment using the connection facilitator wherein the fitment has an alignment protuberance that interfaces with an alignment receiver on the pulp shell.
