Abstract
The invention relates to a device for producing a fibre mat by weaving, which fibre mat is built up of a substrate on which fibres are provided and which device is provided at least with means for forming a shed of warp yarns forming the substrate of the fibre mat, a lay as well as means disposed on one or both sides of the shed for inserting one or more weft yarns into the shed. The invention further relates to a fibre mat obtained by means of a device according to the invention.

A device for producing a fibre mat by weaving, which fibre mat is built up of a substrate on which fibres are provided and which device is provided at least with means for forming a shed of warp yarns forming the substrate of the fibre mat, a lay as well as means disposed on one or both sides of the shed for inserting one or more weft yarns into the shed, wherein the device is provided with cutting means for cutting one or more weft yarns through in one or more places.
A fibre mat obtained by means of the device according to one or more of the preceding claims.
