Abstract
A motorizable tilt shade system includes a header system where the header system includes an integral header attachment connection. At least one cord spool is provided within the header system and is connected with at least one suspension cord. A shade is suspended from the at least one suspension cord and a tilt cord pulley is connected with the at least one cord spool. A tilt cord is connected with the tilt cord pulley and with the shade such that the tilt cord and tilt cord pulley cooperate to tilt the shade. A drive shaft receiver is connected with the tilt cord pulley such that movement of the drive shaft receiver moves the tilt cord pulley.
Claims20
A motorizable tilt shade system comprising:
- a. a header system wherein said header system includes an integral header attachment connection;
- b. at least one cord spool within said header system connected with at least one suspension cord;
- c. a shade suspended from said at least one suspension cord;
- d. a tilt cord pulley connected with said at least one cord spool;
- e. a tilt cord connected with said tilt cord pulley and with said shade such that said tilt cord and tilt cord pulley cooperate to tilt said shade;
- and
- f. a drive shaft receiver connected with said tilt cord pulley such that movement of said drive shaft receiver moves said tilt cord pulley.
A motorizable tilt shade system comprising:
- a. a header system including a header and a header cover wherein said header system acts as a positive voltage carrier and a negative voltage carrier and wherein said header system includes a header attachment connection;
- b. a battery housing connected with said header system and with one of said positive voltage carrier and said negative voltage carrier;
- c. a cord spool within said header connected with at least one suspension cord;
- d. a shade suspended from said at least one suspension cord.
- e. a tilt cord pulley within said header system;
- f. a tilt cord connected with said tilt cord pulley and with said shade such that said tilt cord and tilt cord pulley cooperate to tilt said shade;
- and
- g. a drive shaft receiver connected with said tilt cord pulley such that movement of said drive shaft receiver moves said tilt cord pulley.
A method for motorizing a tilt shade system comprising:
- a. providing a header system wherein said header system includes an integral header attachment connection, at least one cord spool within said header system connected with at least one suspension cord, a shade suspended from said at least one suspension cord, a tilt cord pulley and a tilt cord connected with said tilt cord pulley and said shade, a drive shaft receiver connected with said tilt cord pulley such that movement of said drive shaft receiver moves said tilt cord pulley;
- and
- b. moving said drive shaft receiver.
