Abstract
Disclosed herein is a reception apparatus for receiving AV content, including: a receiver configured to trigger information for controlling processing associated with an application program to be executed in conjugation with a progress of the AV content; a holder configured to hold the application program; and a controller configured to control a state of a first application program depending on whether first trigger information for specifying processing associated with the first application program held in the holder as a subject of control has been received in synchronization with a predetermined reception timing.
Claims16
A reception apparatus for receiving AV content, comprising:
- reception means for receiving trigger information for controlling processing associated with an application program to be executed in conjugation with a progress of said AV content;
- holding means for holding said application program;
- and
- control means for controlling a state of a first application program depending on whether first trigger information for specifying processing associated with said first application program held in said holding means as a subject of control has been received in synchronization with a predetermined reception timing,
- AV standing for Audio/Video.
A reception method for a reception apparatus for receiving AV content, comprising the steps of:
- receiving, by said reception apparatus, trigger information for controlling processing associated with an application program to be executed in conjugation with a progress of said AV content;
- holding, by said reception apparatus, said application program;
- and
- controlling, by said reception apparatus, a state of a first application program depending on whether first trigger information for specifying processing associated with said first application program held in the holding step as a subject of control has been received in synchronization with a predetermined reception timing,
- AV standing for Audio/Video.
A program for controlling a reception apparatus for receiving AV content, said program causing a computer of said reception apparatus to execute processing comprising the steps of:
- receiving trigger information for controlling processing associated with an application program to be executed in conjugation with a progress of said AV content;
- holding said application program;
- and
- controlling a state of a first application program depending on whether first trigger information for specifying processing associated with said first application program held in the holding step as a subject of control has been received in synchronization with a predetermined reception timing,

A transmission apparatus for transmitting AV content, comprising:
- transmission means for transmitting trigger information for controlling processing associated with an application program to be executed on a reception apparatus in conjugation with a progress of said AV content, the transmission being executed in synchronization with a transmission timing corresponding to a reception timing predetermined by said reception apparatus,
- AV standing for Audio/Video.
A transmission method for a transmission apparatus for transmitting AV content, comprising the step of:
- transmitting trigger information for controlling processing associated with an application program to be executed on a reception apparatus in conjugation with a progress of said AV content, the transmission being executed in synchronization with a transmission timing corresponding to a reception timing predetermined by said reception apparatus,
- AV standing for Audio/Video.
A program for controlling a transmission apparatus for transmitting AV content, said program causing a computer of said transmission apparatus to execute processing comprising the step of:
- transmitting trigger information for controlling processing associated with an application program to be executed on a reception apparatus in conjugation with a progress of said AV content, the transmission being executed in synchronization with a transmission timing corresponding to a reception timing predetermined by said reception apparatus,
- AV standing for Audio/Video.
A broadcasting system comprising:
- a transmission apparatus for transmitting AV content, and
- a reception apparatus for receiving said transmitted AV content;
- wherein said transmission apparatus has
- transmission means for transmitting trigger information for controlling processing associated with an application program to be executed on a reception apparatus in conjugation with a progress of said AV content, the transmission being executed in synchronization with a transmission timing corresponding to a reception timing predetermined by said reception apparatus;
- and
- said reception apparatus has
- reception means for receiving trigger information for controlling processing associated with an application program to be executed in conjugation with a progress of said AV content,
- holding means for holding said application program, and
- control means for controlling a state of a first application program depending on whether first trigger information for specifying processing associated with said first application program held in said holding means as a subject of control has been received in synchronization with a predetermined reception timing,
