Computer-readable storage medium, display control apparatus, display control system, and display control method

A display control apparatus for displaying, on a display device, an object group consisting of a plurality of objects, the display control apparatus comprising:

• first direction position setting means for, when the plurality of objects are aligned in a first direction, setting arrangement positions of each of the objects in the first direction;
• second direction position setting means for, in accordance with a predetermined rule, setting arrangement positions in a second direction, which is different from the first direction, for each of the objects whose arrangement position is set in the first direction by the first direction position setting means, such that each of the arrangement positions in the second direction is different from that of at least another object;
• and
• display control means for arranging and displaying each of the plurality of objects on the display device, based on the arrangement positions in the first direction and the second direction.

A display control method executed by a display control apparatus for displaying, on a display device, an object group consisting of a plurality of objects, the method comprising:

• a first direction position setting step of, when the plurality of objects are to be aligned and arranged in a first direction, setting arrangement positions of each of the objects in the first direction;
• a second direction position setting step of, in accordance with a predetermined rule, setting arrangement positions in a second direction, which is different from the first direction, for each of the objects whose arrangement position is set in the first direction at the first direction position setting step, such that each of the arrangement positions in the second direction is different from that of at least another object;
• and
• a display control step of arranging and displaying each of the plurality of objects on the display device, based on the arrangement positions in the first direction and the second direction.

A display control system, which includes a plurality of devices capable of communicating with each other, for displaying, on a display device, an object group consisting of a plurality of objects, the display control system comprising:

• first direction position setting means for, when the plurality of objects are to be aligned and arranged in a first direction, setting arrangement positions of each of the objects in the first direction;
• second direction position setting means for, in accordance with a predetermined rule, setting arrangement positions in a second direction, which is different from the first direction, for each of the objects whose arrangement position is set in the first direction by the first direction position setting means, such that each of the arrangement positions in the second direction is different from that of at least another object;
• and
• display control means for arranging and displaying each of the plurality of objects on the display device, based on the arrangement positions in the first direction and the second direction.
