Mechanism for facilitating efficient error handling in a network environment

A machine-readable medium carrying one or more sequences of instructions which when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to carry out the steps of:

• receiving, at a server computing system, a validation request having configuration parameters of error dialogs relating to errors;
• validating, at the server computing system, the configuration parameters and the errors, wherein validating includes mapping each error with a corresponding dialog;
• and
• transmitting, from the server computing system to a client computing system, a validating report having results of validation of the configuration parameters and the errors, wherein validation report is used to assign an order to each error and its corresponding dialog.

An apparatus comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• one or more stored sequences of instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to carry out the steps of:
• receiving, at a server computing system, a validation request having configuration parameters of error dialogs relating to errors;
• and
• validating, at the server computing system, the configuration parameters and the errors, wherein validating includes mapping each error with a corresponding dialog;
• and
• transmitting, from the server computing system to a client computing system, a validating report having results of validation of the configuration parameters and the errors, wherein validation report is used to assign an order to each error and its corresponding dialog.
